Responding to the NSF Big Idea, Harnessing the Data Revolution (HDR), this special meeting will bring together project leaders and trainees across disciplines and across universities to share skills and knowledge and develop new research collaborations at the intersection of machine learning and materials science. The benefit of this collaboration is that trainees can practice team science and visualize how their efforts align with the goals of a larger community of scientists and engineers.
